We are proud to announce that we have been fully accredited to the SHA Plus (SHA+) certification by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Ministry of Public Health. Please rest assure that our staff have been vaccinated and continue to keep the best quality and high standards of safety and hygiene measures throughout your entire stay.

We are excited and ready to welcome back fully vaccinated international travelers, with quarantine-free as part of the Phuket Sandbox reopening scheme from 1st of July 2021 onwards.

What is SHA Plus?
A certificate awarded to an organization proving that they have approved Covid-19 health and preventative protocols in place and that 70% or more of all employees have been fully vaccinated.

We are proud to announce that in our ongoing commitment to safety, health and security of our guests. Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa has completed the compliance with “Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA)” and are fully compliant.

On 2nd July 2020 in a ceremony at Angsana Convention and Exhibition Space, Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and Mr. Narong Woonchiew, the Governor to Phuket, presented the Amazing Thailand SHA certification to the management of the Diamond cliff resort and spa.

As we are all aware the past few months have been extremely challenging for all of us with the pandemic. We are now seeing light at the end of the tunnel and as such we are readying ourselves to open once again.

At Diamond Cliff we take the health, safety & comfort of our guest and team very seriously and have been our first priority during this challenging time. We have been working in liaison with all of the local governmental agencies, international cleaning/chemical suppliers and an international hospital (under the supervision of an infectious disease specialist) to ensure we have done the utmost (beyond what was required of us) to protect and eliminate the spread of Covid-19. Our new normal, will indeed be different, but our promise of safety and the best service with a sincere warm Thai welcome remains the same.

• Ecolab cleaning supplies throughout the property, an internationally recognized brand.
• Ecolab on-site training for correct use, dosage and procedure of all products.
• Bangkok Hospital Siriroj Dr. Surachat Chuaychob specialist infectious disease, training workshop.
• Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA) accreditation.
• Internal SOP’s for any potential risk areas, along with visual reminders throughout the property for social distancing, good hygiene, wearing of face masks.
• Limiting people numbers in certain areas such as – Breakfast buffet, Fitness center, Kids house, Banquette facilities.

We are sure that our new normal procedures, as seen below, will assure you that we are ready to welcome you back to Diamond Cliff on 1^st October 2020.

We at Diamond Cliff have customer satisfaction as a priority & are proud to announce our three year renovation project is completed.

This began in 2016, continuing during the low seasons of 2017/18, with completion at the end of 2018. The project includes upgrades and brand-new accommodation, embracing a modern design throughout.

Guests can now enjoy a fully rebuilt lobby area, brand new Super Deluxe Room & Ocean Jacuzzi Suites & Ocean View Pool. Our F&B outlets have also been rebuilt/upgraded such as the brand new Kiko Japanese Restaurant, Ocean View Restaurant, The Sea Bar & fully refurbished Thai Orchid Restaurant.

Additional brand-new facilities include the Ocean View Lounge, Fruit Shop and Fitness Center, alongside modern Meeting Room facilities & Kid’s House.

All of this combined with our high standards of service and welcome, Diamond Cliff Resort & Spa continues to offer a world-class resort experience for our guests.
